High School Announcements

1. Check-out procedures:  All students 6th-11th grade will have a personalized check-out sheet.  Please follow these steps:
        a. Gather each classroom teacher signature during class time, and gather coaches signatures
        b. All PE lockers will need to be cleaned out and checked out by Mr. Tom Petersen on Wednesday during PE.  PE padlocks will be turned during your PE class time (with combination written on tape)
        c. All chromebooks, including charger & cleaned bag, will be turned in Thursday (see your sheet for the time)
        d. Replacement Fees: locker key- $20; padlock- $20; charger- $20; laptop bag- $25; book damages fees are on the check-out sheet
        e. Hall lockers need to be cleaned out and sheet signed by staff member Friday morning before office check out
        f. Leo’s going on Adventureland trip will need to have hall lockers check during seminar before final office check-out on Thursday 
        g. After above is complete: students finalize check-out in offices on Friday (lunch balances, etc)
        h. Special arrangements for different check out times need to be made prior to Friday

2. State golf t-shirt order forms are available –money & forms due Wednesday 8:30am

3. Sophomores & parents – Washington DC fundraising opportunity – grilling & selling burgers at 
home baseball games.  Sign-up sheet is in the HS office.

4. Yearbook – Friday is the last day to order your 18-19 yearbook – no extras are being ordered

5. Annual Spring BOGO Book Fair- Thursday and Friday at the elementary school library in Exira- 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday at Tivoli Fest- across the street from the fire station- everything is buy one, get one free!! (items can be mixed and matched and must be of equal or lesser value)  

6. High School- Please consider helping decide what science elective classes will be offered next year by completing the survey Ms. Rutherford sent to your email. Your responses will help Ms. Nulle offer classes you are interested in next year.

7. All student grades 8-11 need to have their I Have a Plan completed.  If this is not done, you will be staying with Mrs. Eischeid on Friday until it is finished. 

8. Student Council:
        a. Is sponsoring a Can Food Drive thru Thursday for the Elk Horn Lutheran Food Pantry – please bring non-perishable food items to the box in the HS office
        b. Any 8th thru 11th grade student interested in being on Student Council next year, please pick up an application in Mrs. Boysen’s room.  We will need 4 students from each grade.  Applications are due Wednesday
