The Junior Class is sponsoring a Trivia Night on March 26 at the Exira Event Center. Doors open at 6:30 with the legendary John Walker emceeing trivia at 7:00. Bring your team of 8 people ($10/person) and snacks for a fun time while supporting the Junior Class Prom and After Prom. There will be mulligans, door prizes, and a blanket raffle during the night.

While attending Parent Teacher Conferences Thursday Night, check out these opportunities available in the Elk Horn Cafeteria! DMACC and IWCC will have representatives presenting mini sessions about their programs and able to meet 1 on 1 to answer any question or provide future guidance. DMACC will also be explaining the opportunities offered for the Career Academy in Templeton starting in the Fall. There will also be an informational meeting about the Washington D.C Trip for grades 9, 10 , and 11. #EEHKSpartanPride

Today the Spartan Speech team had an early morning traveling to ADM High School for state speech contest! With our first contestant being at 8AM and our last being around 4:15 PM, it was truly a busy day! With that being said, students really learned a lot from their this experience! Spartan Speech students are up and coming for sure! This program is going to continue to grow! Here is a list of the events and their rankings from today! Students receiving a division 1 rating will now wait for news about if they have received the prestigious honor of an All-State Nomination. Great job Spartan Speech! All students should be proud of their ratings and such! Being able to see just how far these students came this season is a great thing for sure! Mr. Parmley is proud of your work today! Keep encouraging students to try speech in the future! It is such an amazing life skill and great character builder! #EEHKSpartanPride

Your child(ren)'s name will appear where you signed up last fall, but you can update this as needed. You can also access this link through the Elementary News page of our website. Find the column for your child's teacher and put his/her name in the time slot you wish to meet with the teacher.
