On Friday members of our 4th grade got to visit Audubon for Ag Day. They learned all about safety in ag, jobs in ag industries, and even were taught by some EEHK FFA kids!

4:00 - 7th grade game (best 2 of 3 or 45 minutes)
4:50 - 8th grade game (best 2 of 3 or 45 minutes)
5:50- JV games (best 2 of 3 or 55 minutes)
7:10- Varsity will begin
**Note: If JV ends early, Varsity will begin early**

Tickets can be purchased on Bound prior to the game or there is a cash gate

First week of school is in the books! You know what that means - the first Friday Celebration of the Year!! This week Mrs. Bauer celebrated our adults with "certificates" (we mean candy) for all of their hard work in getting things prepped for Back to School. Huge shout out to Beth, Mitch, Bethany, Steve, Carter, Kim & Pam, Mrs. Bauer and Brenda for all of their behind the scenes work to make our school look good and keep our students fed. Thanks to our teachers and paras for their amazing work and dedication to the kids. We also celebrated Mrs. Young for all of her tireless hours at her summer externship. She put in over 200 hours!! Way to go, Stacey.

We are so excited to offer band this year for our 6-12 students. With our preliminary numbers, we have many students who are interested in participating.

With that, if you have a gently used instrument that you would be willing to donate to the school, we would appreciate it.

EXIRA EHK FOOD PANTRY IS STARTING BACK UP!

We are excited to start our Exira EHK Food Pantry again this school year! Our goal is to support families in our school community by providing a little extra help with food each week. Weekly food bags will be sent home with enrolled families. Bags may include items such as lunch meat, tuna, noodles, snacks, eggs, and more! We will also have occasional Friday morning/afternoon pickup options for more fresh/frozen options! Interested in participating? Please stop by the Exira Elementary Office to pick up a food pantry enrollment form. Once completed, return the form to the office. We are also looking for reusable bag donations to help us continue this program! 🛍️

Audubon Junior High Football Camp Info Grades: 7–8 Dates: August 18–19, 2026 Cost: $30 Register through Bound: https://www.gobound.com/ia/schools/audubon/camps Please note: No additional T-shirts will be ordered, so late registrations are not guaranteed a camp T-shirt. Online registration closes Monday, August 10 at 9:00 AM. Walk-ups are welcome. If you are a walk-up, please bring cash or check on the first day of camp.
