4/24 was a busy Friday at EEHK Elementary. Third, due to the school record-setting $5651.26 raised for Kids Heart Challenge, the elementary kids earned the ability to Pie 9 staff members in the face! What a fun, funny experience!

Mr. Miller, Mrs. Van Cleave, and Mrs. Bricker had the opportunity to visit the Audubon Armory today to learn more about the Iowa National Guard.

On Wednesday, members of E-EHK's 5th and 6th grades visited Ignite Pathways in Woodbine to check out some cool professions! All super hands-on and very interactive. The Spartans (and our neighbors the Wheelers) had a BLAST!!
The JH Track Meet in Audubon for tonight (4/23) has been cancelled.

Another second grade science center post because we had an awesome parent chaperone send some in after we'd posted and these are just too good not to share!!
On Friday the EEHK 5th graders made their way to the state capitol to tour the facilities. Most even went up in the dome! Afterwards they had lunch and recess at Riverview Park before heading back to school.
It's that time of year again, field trips are a plenty! On Thursday, the second grade classes made their way to the Science Center in Des Moines. They learned about pulleys, physics, engineering, water, the night's sky, aerospace, and so much more!
DC fundraiser pansy bowls can be picked up tonight (4/17) from 4-6pm and next week Monday through Friday 4-6pm.
