Elementary Friday Celebrations: K-2 Drawing Winners and End of 2nd Quarter bonus drawing winners

The EEHK Speech team brought 6 events to District Large Group Contest in Creston today. Ensemble Acting and both Musical Theater pieces got division 2 ratings. TV News, Readers Theater, & Short Film got division 1 ratings and advance to State contest at West Des Moines Valley in 2 weeks! All of the kids did a great job and shoud be proud of the work they put in 💚

Announcement:
Friday January 23rd there will be no school for the Exira-EHK Community School Due to the Extreme Cold Warning that is in place until noon.
All JH activities for Friday will be postponed.
As of now we will have all high school activities

Enjoy the long weekend and hopefully we will get rid of some of our illness that has been going around. I will let everyone know a date for Monday make up so that everyone can plan accordingly.

Tonight's (January 22nd) Girls Varsity basketball game will begin in Van Meter at 6:15.

Mark your calendars for January 30th!
Villa dance will be performing. Also, the LEOs will be hosting a free will donation potato bar for supper!

What's the BUZZ from the elementary? We've announced the spellers representing their grade levels at the Spelling Bee! You are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! And a big thank you to Mrs. Hansen for all of her hard work.

This past week's Friday celebration had 3-5 drawing winners. Congrats to them!!
